• February 14, 2026: SGB will return Team deposit through Stripe

• February 14, 2026: SGB will share Event Day Photos, YouTube Videos and Final Player Emails no later than February 14. We typically have the YouTube game video uploaded in real-time.

• Group A: T1: UCLA, T2: USC, T3: SMG

• Group B: T4: Blue Whales, T5: E-Star, T6: A Team

EVENT SCHEDULE

• Day 1: Group Round-Robin Stage 

  • Teams will be divided into two groups and will compete in a round-robin format within each group. 

  • After each team has completed two matched, group rankings will be confirmed based on Total Wins > Head-to-Head result among tied teams > Points Differential (cap +15 per game) > Total Points > Coin Flip (if still tied).

  • Each Group's 1st place will become either Seed #1 or Seed #2, depending on the Total Points Differential.

  • Teams ranked 2nd and 3rd in each group will then be given one cross-group placement match to compete for position. 

    • The winning teams will become either Seed #3 or Seed #4, depending on the Total Points Differential.

• Day 2: Ranking Stage 

  • Based on the initial ranking from Day 1, we have the Seed #1 to Seed #6 team.

  • 5th & 6th Placement: Seed #5 vs Seed #6

  • Semi-Final: Seed #1 vs Seed #4 ; Seed #2 vs Seed #3

  • 3rd & 4th Placement: Semi Final Losers'Teams

  • Final - 1st Place & Runner-up: Semi Final Winners' Team

TOURNAMENT RULEBOOK

2025-26 SEASON OFFICIAL TOURNAMENT RULEBOOK

• FORMAT: Four quarters, 10 minutes each.

• TIMEOUTS: Each team has TWO timeouts per half. Each timeout is 60 seconds. Timeouts do NOT carry over from the first half to the second."

• BONUS: The opposing team will shoot two free throws ON the 5th team foul (so after the 4th team foul, the next one will be bonus). There is no 1-and-1 rule.

• STOP CLOCK: Running clock except the last 2 min of the fourth quarter.

• QUARTER BREAK: 1 Min; HALF-TIME BREAK: 3 Min (SGB may adjust the break time in the event of significant delayed)

• OT: 2 min OT is applied with a stop clock.

• SHOCK CLOCK: SGB will use a physical 30-second shot clock for all games. The shot clock shall reset to 30 seconds under standard NCAA Women’s Basketball conditions. No 20-second partial reset.

• COACH'S CHALLENGE: Each team will have ONE Coach’s Challenge for ONLY score errors or incorrectly recorded fouls/timeouts. The team cannot challenge anything that is a referee’s judgement call. See below for details.

• READ OFFICIAL JERSEY POLICY BELOW: No tapping; the entire team must provide matching, clearly distinguishable light/dark jerseys. Non-compliant players may be ineligible to play, and violations may result in a 2-point penalty per game or a USD $50 team fine.

  • Missing Jersey / Severely Mismatched Jersey --> Do not allow to play (No Tapping)

    • Resolution: Team may use official SGB jersey with a $50 penalty per game (maximum: $100 per team per tournament) 

  • Jersey Number Mismatch / Shorts Violation (bright/disturbing colors) --> Penalty 2pts, the player may continue to play

  • Home = Light Jersey; Away = Dark Jersey
